Oil and Gas Supplies and Services

Frac Tanks :

A frac tank is a type of mobile storage tank commonly used in the fracturing of oil and gas wells. Fracturing involves hydraulically pumping large amounts of special liquid sometimes laden with sand, into a well-bore at a high rate and pressure. The force generated from this pressure is used to break up the rock bed to make it more permeable for oil to flow into the well-bore. Since the liquid used in the fracturing process needed to be stored next to an oil or gas well in advance of the fracturing treatment, mobile storage tanks were invented. The frac tanks usually get trucked into the drill site and placed beside each other to serve as a large and temporary storage facility. New & Used Heavy Equipment

Features :

It is widely used to hold water,or a propant when a well is being fractured. The material is held in a frac tank and connected by a hose or pipeline to a pump that will flow it down the wellbore at a high pressure topush open the formation and the proppant is used to keep it open
